Visitor Information and Current Events
A visit to Joseph Priestley House begins in our Visitor Center, where an introductory exhibit and 10-minute orientation film depict the life and achievements of Joseph Priestley. Visitors can also purchase tickets for guided tours of Priestley's manor house and shop in the museum store. Guided tours begin with orientation film on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday; 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Last tour daily is at 3:00 p.m. Hours and programs subject to change. Call ahead to confirm tour times.
Two picnic tables are available on the grounds for the convenience of visitors.

Heritage Day at Priestley House
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Tour the mansion at your own pace, talk with costumed interpreters about the Priestley family at home, and join Dr. Priestley in his laboratory for chemistry demonstrations at 1, 2, and 3 PM (Seating in the laboratory is limited and on first come, first serve basis).
Admission $4.00 adults; $3.50 seniors; $2.00 youth 6-17 years
